Happy strawberry fest parade onlookers in La Trinidad are not barred by a retinue of media assistants and security men who usually block the view of the audience on the street.***

What we really liked in the Strawberry Festival at La Trinidad was the breaking of the proverbial ‘fourth wall’ in theater. People naturally became part of the show on their own volition. Here, the audience stood up to ask for a Tapey from one of the barangay floats. This is in contrast to the Baguio Flower Festival where people are guarded and barred not to overstep the yellow line.***
